13 Dec ’tis the season for feel good gifting
December really is the most wonderful time of the year! People are in a good mood, the shops are lit, with glittering decorations, gifts are being bought, there really is nothing like it. Not sure what to gift your colleague for secret Santa, your boyfriends’ dad or your bestie? We’ve got you covered and the great thing about purchasing a gift from the Goodbye Malaria website is that your contribution goes towards ending malaria. A devastating disease that still affects our most vulnerable members of society.
Goodbye Malaria is not your regular malaria organisation. There’s something that makes them quite distinct: it’s their range of causal merchandise. It helps to save lives by raising funds for their spray program – every R72 ($5.50) spent in our store protects a life for 6 months. On top of that, each item is also locally and ethically produced, promoting job creation, and uplifting and upskilling entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
The organisations’ current range of merchandise features custom shweshwe fabrics, a cloth synonymous with South African culture, embracing the countries colour, design and diversity.
