28 Oct I tried CBD infused water
I recently attended a Beauty Warriors event. The theme was around cancer prevention and one of the products they spoke about was CBD infused water. Now, before you think I’m on drugs, let me break it down for you! CBD (cannabidiol) is in everything at the moment, since it’s been legalised.
I’m someone who doesn’t even like to take a Panado for a headache, so CBD anything is really out of my comfort zone. I’ve heard about the positive effects of CBD, from managing anxiety to pain relief, so I decided to be open-minded and try the CBD water.
What is CBD?
CBD is an active ingredient found in hemp and marijuana, however, it does not contain THC and therefore has no psychoactive effects. So, it won’t alter your brain function, or get you high.
What is CBD water?
This water is infused with tiny cannabidiol droplets, which allows CD to pass through your intestinal barrier easier (better absorption). The brand I’m trying is called goodleaf, it’s sparkling water and it’s aloe and rose flavoured. There’s no weird taste or after taste. It tastes just like regular flavoured water.
I had zero side effects from drinking this water, for those of you who are still apprehensive. It doesn’t feel any different to drinking regular water. I only had one bottle, maybe you need to drink it more regularly for it to help with your anxiety?
This product is about R225 for 6 bottles and you can order it online
Would you try CBD infused water for your anxiety?
