This exciting venture further reinforces the brand’s commitment to offering unparalleled hospitality and unforgettable moments to travelers seeking an extraordinary safari adventure. Anticipated to welcome guests in 2026, JW Marriott Serengeti Lodge will be nestled within the renowned Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with captivating wildlife and captivating landscapes.
Unveiling the Splendor:
With 30 private suites, including two presidential suites, JW Marriott Serengeti Lodge promises an intimate and lavish escape for discerning travelers. Each suite will boast its own swimming pool and deck area, providing an oasis of tranquility and exclusivity. The lodge will also feature a range of outstanding culinary offerings, extensive beverage options, and versatile meeting facilities, ensuring that guests have everything they need for a remarkable stay.
An Unparalleled Setting:
Positioned between the Grumeti and Mbalageti rivers, JW Marriott Serengeti Lodge offers unparalleled access to the region’s abundant wildlife and awe-inspiring landscapes. Guests will enjoy panoramic views of the Serengeti’s sprawling plains, home to some of the largest herds on the planet. The Serengeti National Park, spanning 5,700 square miles, is not only a sanctuary for diverse wildlife but also the starting point of the Great Migration. This extraordinary spectacle sees millions of animals embarking on a journey of approximately 1,800 miles from Serengeti into Kenya’s Masai Mara between June and September. In addition, visitors can marvel at the renowned “Big Five” – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhinoceros, and African elephant – in their natural habitat.
The Significance of Partnership:
Marriott International is honored to collaborate with Delaware Investment Limited on this groundbreaking project in the Serengeti. The partnership represents a significant milestone for both organizations and showcases the brand’s commitment to delivering enriching experiences to its valued guests. Jenni Benzaquen, Senior Vice President, Brand Portfolio Europe, Middle East and Africa at Marriott International, expressed delight in this collaboration and emphasized the brand’s dedication to providing exceptional hospitality.

Located approximately 660 kilometers northwest of Dodoma in Tanzania, the Serengeti can be reached via the Grumeti airstrip, a mere 25-minute drive from the lodge. International travelers can opt to fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport, followed by a domestic flight to a Serengeti airstrip. Alternatively, they can embark on an eight-hour scenic drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport, reveling in breathtaking savannas and encountering wildlife along the route.
