How are you spending the festive season?
I’m currently on maternity leave and will be going back to work in January 2023, so I’m looking forward to having a relaxing holiday at home this year, with family, good food, and great wine. My days will be spent in the pool, braaiing and making memories with my baby girl and hubby and we have family coming up from Durban.
What’s your favourite festive food to indulge in?
I have a huge, sweet tooth, so I indulge in all the sweets this time of year, you can find me by the peppermint crisp tart, the ice cream, the home-made chocolate cake, and of course the quality streets.
What do the holidays mean to you?
The holidays represent family, rest, memories, and celebrations for me.
What items are on your festive season wish list this year?
Since having the baby I’ve put on 10kgs, so I’ll be looking to get a few loose-fitting dresses from Country Road, Mango, and Something Pretty Boutique.
I’m running low on makeup, so I’ll be topping up my kit with a few new pieces from a few big brands and smaller brands alike. There’s no need to look as tired as we feel. I’ll also be looking at getting some new fitness gear so I can get my pre-baby body back.
Other than that, I’ve already got everything I need.
