Review: Galaxy S22 Series

Galaxy 22 – Making mobile experiences better and easier for content creators

These days, users do not only expect smartphones to perform certain functions – they want them to do everything. Users want the ability to capture, explore and communicate with the world at their fingerprints. This is even more crucial for content creators whose fan base and livelihoods are dependent on the quality of content created.

Powered by premium camera capabilities, mobile experiences are increasingly revolving around video usage. From streaming the latest shows, video-chats, capturing high-res content of loved ones to creating social media content; video has become an integral part of users’ and content creators’ daily lives. According to Cisco’s latest Visual Networking Index – video is expected to account for 79% of global mobile traffic[1] this year. Video consumption is growing at an impressive rate; so much so that within the next three years it will account for nearly four-fifths of all mobile traffic.

Everyone wants the best when creating, viewing, and connecting with video. There is a greater need for premium cameras, superfast connectivity, long-lasting batteries, and innovative new ways to share and this is what Galaxy is known for — making mobile experiences better and easier. The advanced VDIS technology of the Galaxy series allows for Standout Content to be captured Day/Night – it minimises vibrations/movements so users can record stable videos — without using a tripod.

This series comes equipped with brighter displays – more intelligent than ever. For the first time in Samsung smartphone history, users can also experience epic performance with the latest 4nm processor. Partnered with enhanced 5G capabilities[2] – users can game, stream, create content, and work across all their favorite apps with incredible ease. And these Galaxy experiences are made better by the long-lasting battery that allows phones to run for more than a day on a single charge[3].

The elevated design gives a refined and balanced look and feel. The upgraded linear camera set-up and sleek camera housing can match the colour of the device’s body for a seamless, distinctly modern design. Galaxy S22 is equipped with a premium 6.1-inch display, while Galaxy S22+ comes with a 6.6-inch display. Both are built with Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays and equipped with intelligent Vision Booster technology that automatically adjusts the screen to the lighting around the user or content creator, so that there’s always a great view of the content – even under direct sunlight.
