Spooky Frappe
Starbucks has a new, spooky, yet delicious frappe that you need to try this witching season. Available until 31 October. This brand has just launched a sexy Cherry & Cream Frappuccino. This is a no-tricks-all-treat blended beverage with a spine-chillingly fabulous twist you’ll be dying to share with friends and family.
It’s a shock of sugar-free vanilla syrup combined with cherry puree, blended with milk and ice, topped with delicious non-dairy cherry whipped cream and a white chocolate finger. There’s an option to replace standard milk with a non-dairy milk option, and you have a * vegan-friendly treat (*white chocolate finger contains dairy).
The red in the whipped cream topping is made with a natural coloured ‘Halloween powder blend’. The vanilla syrup is sugar-free and you can eat the chocolate finger. This genuine Starbucks Frappuccino® — with a frighteningly fun twist is exclusive to South Africa’s Starbucks stores from 19 October – 31 October only. #PumpkinSpiceUpYourLife at Starbucks
Spring is a great time to take a fresh look at how you’re engaging with your followers. There’s new music on the airwaves, new fashions on the rails, new colours in the design arena, and new optimism about the future. There are also some fabulous new tastes to be explored at Starbucks! Apart from the delicious Salted Maple Caramel Latte, the delectable Fudge Shortbread, and indulgent Milktart Muffin, there was also the launch of the ICONIC Pumpkin Spice Latte.
PSL (as it’s affectionately known by Starbucks fans) is a perfectly handcrafted espresso with a pumpkin spice infusion, creamy steamed milk, and cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove. It’s then finished with whipped cream and more pumpkin spice on top! But of course, with variety being the spice of life at Starbucks, this iconic beverage is also available in hot, iced and Frappuccino variants.
If you’re considering a refresh of your social media profile or contemplating your next post, pop into your local Starbucks. You’ll get a fresh perspective with the unique experience of a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Then, let us know which is the top taste that spices up your life! #PumpkinSpiceUpYourLife
Starbucks “Pride”
No matter where you fall on the sexuality spectrum, Starbucks South Africa is proud to be there to provide that extra little something special to make your day — every day. It’s all part of the ‘people’ aspect of our 3P brand pillars that include ‘planet’ and ‘product’. And this year, for Pride Month, we’re exploring and celebrating the many personal expressions of sexual diversity.
Through a series of videos created with the help of celebrities, personalities and influencers, we’ll be building a platform for all South Africans to share what “Pride” means to them. To help get the conversation started, we’ve produced a short ‘Pride Guide’ that outlines some of the headline achievements of the Pride Movements in South Africa, from the early establishment of gay rights to the most recent successes of the LGBTQ+ movement.
As Leah McCrae, MD of Starbucks SA, says of the campaign, ‘it’s a great way to share our pride in our humanity, our individuality, our freedom of self-expression, self-acceptance and to celebrate our respect and tolerance for each other.” Look out for the collateral in stores and social media this Pride Month. And to share what “Pride” means to you, join the conversation by tagging your video @starbucks_sa and @Elysian_management, #pridechallenge, #elysiancommunity.
