Haircare

Redkens acidic bonding concentrate range:

This is an all-in-one solution for a total hair transformation. Lord knows our hair could all use a little TLC after this cold spell. Stemming from 60+ years of research into the science of hair, this is Redken’s most concentrated care for ultimate repair, intense conditioning, and colour fade protection. This system is comprised of a professional-only back bar service and a complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatment for at-home use. This new technology strengthens the weakened bonds of the hair and improves the strength and resilience of damaged hair for immediate visible results. Citric Acid is a key ingredient– used to bring softness and shine to the hair by bringing the hair back to its natural acidity.

Starting from R355 from Retail box and all good hair salons.

Skincare

Claire Hill S8-28 Anti-Ageing Moisturiser:

Before we dive into the formula of this moisturiser, can we just have a moment of silence for the luxe packaging. The clean white bottle, with the silver pump just looks so gorgeous on a beauty stand. This light-weight moisturiser claims to be a non-invasive alternative to Botox. It does this by applying natural peptides to the skin topically, which sends a message to the body to produce collagen. Which helps provide more elasticity and significantly decrease wrinkle depth after 28 days of use. I’ve used botox before and my botox usually lasts about 3 months. This product promises to extend the lifetime of my botox for up to 6 months. This moisturiser is formulated with SNAP-8™ Peptide Solution, which shows that reducing muscle contractions reduces wrinkle depth by up to 63% in one month of treatment. Leaving you with a smoother skincare look.

Other key ingredients in this product are phytosterols (super antioxidants) which are used to reduce free radical damage and inflammation. Rosa canina fruit oil which is rich in fatty acids and helps to increase skin firmness. Provitamin B5 which improves skin hydration and elasticity. Sodium hyaluronate to plump and hydrate the skin and amino acids to improve skin texture. This range is suitable for all skin types and remember not to store it in direct sunlight, or in a humid room like a bathroom.
