Cadbury’s has just launched their festive range & a recipe

‘Tis the season for giving back! 2020 has been a tough year for us all – I have that I have been super stressed, both financially, and emotionally. While I may be cutting back on some things, for the first time, in a long time, I’m looking forward to hearing ‘Jingle bells rock’ on the radio, seeing shining tinsel everywhere, and seeing the gorgeous lights and Christmas trees up. While I do feel grateful and appreciative for the lessons learned this year, I cannot wait to feel that festive cheer too.

Recipe: Shortbread decorations


  • 375g of flour
  • 250g of room temperature butter
  • 125g castor sugar
  • 150g (1 bar) Cadbury Dream Cinnamon Crunch


  1. In a large bowl, cream the butter and castor sugar
  2. Chop a third of the Cadbury Dream Cinnamon Crunch bar and add your sifted flour
  3. Add flour into the mixing bowl and gently combine your cookie dough
  4. Be careful not to over mix as this will harden the cookies
  5. Cling wrap your dough and allow to rest in the fridge for 30 mins
  6. Roll out your rested dough to a 1cm thickness
  7. Cut out shapes and place on a baking tray
  8. Use a small cutter to remove holes for the decorations’ strings
  9. Bake at 180’c for 15 mins until lightly golden
  10. Take the cookies out of the oven and allow to cool
  11. Melt the rest of the chocolate and dip the cookies. Place your decorations while the chocolate sets
  12. Tie a string on each and hang them on the tree
