As the lock-down starts to ease up, we are now venturing out to eat at our favourite (and sorely missed) restaurants. I think it’s safe to say that we are all tired of making our own pizza’s, pasta’s, burgers, banana bread and dalgona coffees. We all want to return to a sense of normalcy, don’t we?
One of my favorite Italian, family-run restaurants – Cafe del Soul is opening up their Botanico restaurant in Bryanston as well as their Olivedale branch, for dine-in meals. Please support these local restaurants and entrepreneurs who have been closed for over three months now.
This is the most lovely restaurant for special occasions, or just to celebrate the end of lockdown. They are practicing strict safety standards as always as your health is their number one priority.
Here are some of my favourite meals that I recommend you try:
- Fresh mussel pot
- Salt and pepper squid heads
- battered prawns
- Black tagliolini
- Champagne risotto
- Black sesame crusted salmon
- Their Pavlova is always a win for me
- Chocolate hot pot with peanut butter ice cream
- Chocolate meringue brownie
If you don’t want to eat out, you can shop online on www.deli-via.com where they sell home-made pastas (fresh and frozen), pasta sauces, biscotti and more
Is this a restaurant you plan to visit?
