Five reasons why I love Batiste dry shampoo

Batiste has a new nozzle and a new range of dry shampoo! This brand is constantly innovating and coming up with new product variants and so it’s no surprise that they’re the world’s number one dry shampoo. I was lucky enough to be able to try them out and this is what I thought of them.

Hydration range

This is by far my favourite range, it leaves your hair feeling silky soft (lush avocado extract) and it smells absolutely divine (like grapefruit, melon, and green apple). This range targets even the driest of strands, making them super caress-able. I use this range after styling just because I love this scent so much. This is a range I’ll definitely be re-purchasing. Volume range

This range definitely put that oomph back into my hair, it gave me the volume my hair desperately needed for those urgent zoom calls. Made with collagen complex, the clean-feel formula removes oil, leaving your hair bouncy and smelling great! This dry shampoo smells like delish melon, grapefruit, and green apple and really does give your hair the volume it promises. This range left my hair feeling a little dry so I would recommend only using it when your hair actually needs some dry shampoo. For a night out in between washes, it really does the trick. This is the pink range.

Damage control

This range is great for people who’s hair is damaged, weak or over-processed. This formula has strengthening keratin which will instantly refresh your hair and protect it against damage caused by heat styling and over-processing, leaving it looking healthy and feeling clean! What’s more, it’s invisible and feels super lightweight on your hair! Your hair will feel softer and smoother, and look amazing. What more could you want from a dry shampoo?

De-frizz range

Personally, I have frizzy hair, accompanied by loads of flyaways, so I always use hairspray to hold them down, until now that is. This dry shampoo does what it promises, at least it does for my thin, frizzy hair. This range is lightweight and smooths flyaways. It smells like coconut, green apple, melon, and grapefruit which adds a glossy grand finale. This is a range I really enjoyed, but I did find that my hairspray could do the same trick re the flyaways, however, the differentiating factor was that this is a dry shampoo too. I love that it’s multi-purpose. This is the purple range

Five reasons why I use dry shampoo:

  1. Less shampoo equals healthier hair. I only wash my hair once a week TBH.
  2. Dry shampoo helps regulate your natural oil production.
  3. Dry shampoo is super convenient and saves time.
  4. Dry shampoo adds volume, hydration and reduces fizz from your hair.
  5. Dry shampoo decreases the effect of heat damage as you’re not styling as often.
