I absolutely love coffee, all kinds of coffee. Instant coffee, machine coffee, and cappuccinos too. So you can imagine my excitement when I received a press drop from Society Coffee. These instant cappuccino sachets come in 5 delicious variants – sweetened, unsweetened, vanilla, caramel toffee, and hazelnut.
I’ve only tasted the sweetened and unsweetened versions so far and I really enjoyed them. I’m always concerned that sweetened coffees can be too sweet, but I enjoyed this brand as it was not overly sweet.
Coffee done differently:
I decided to make my coffee different this weekend, I guess the lockdown is leaving me with a little extra time and a little more creativity too. I made a Delgona Coffee with my society coffee. All you need is a sachet of society coffee in your favorite flavor, milk, water, ice, and some elbow grease. I’ve never had a Dalgona coffee before, but the whipped coffee like cream turned me into a huge fan. This is how I did it.
Ingredients: Makes 2 glasses
- 1 sachet of Society coffee
- 2 glasses of milk
- 3 ice cubes per glass
- 2 tablespoons of hot water
Directions:
- Use a small mixing bowl, add the sachet of Society Coffee and the hot water and mix with an electric mixer until it’s firm and looks like a coffee cream / has a meringue consistency.
- Fill your glasses with ice cubes and milk, add the coffee cream on top and serve. I found serving with a copper straw worked well.
