I was recently gifted with the Nivea Q10 Power Anti-wrinkle range, I was super excited to try it out because… anti-aging… but to be honest I wasn’t sure if it would work. I’ve tried a million different products that have promised to make me look younger and I’ve still got crows feet around my eyes lol.
While this product was gifted, this review is my own thoughts based on my experience. I tried the following and this was my experience.
Nivea Q10 Power ANti-wrinkle pore-refining SPF15 day cream (R189.99)
This skincare cream promises to leave the skin feeling firmer and minimises pores. It encompasses Algae extract which has been well documented for its anti-bacterial and pore minimising properties.
What I thought: The day cream is super lightweight, and moisturising and keeps my skin feeling soft and moisturised all day long. I didn’t break out while using this product and I would definitely re-purchase this range again.
Nivea Q10 Power Anti-wrinkle revitalising night cream (R189.99)
This skincare cream promises to hydrate the skin with its own Coenzyme Q10 and vitamin A to help the skin regenerate during the night and visibly smoothes the skin.
What I thought: I’ve never been a fan of night creams and I’ve never really used them. However I tried this one and was pleasantly surprised, my skin still felt hydrated in the morning, like I could just apply my makeup straight onto my face without having to wash my face and apply more moisturiser. If you’re a fan of night creams, this is one I would recommend for its hydrating properties.
Nivea Q10 Power ANti-wrinkle boost pearl serum (R259.99)
This skincare serum promises to deliver highly concentrated Q10 to targeted areas so that your skin is left looking younger and feeling smoother over time. The serum is silky smooth and offers the best anti-wrinkle power for a refined complexion and younger-looking skin.
What I thought: I loved this product. From its packaging to the way the product is dispensed, to the way the product feels on my skin. My skin had a healthy glow, it felt moisturised throughout the day, I even had the confidence to walk around makeup-free for a few days.
Overall, I feel this range is good value for money and these are products I would purchase again, specifically the serum and day moisturiser, especially for someone with dry, sensitive skin like myself. Well done Nivea, you guys did good.
Have you tried this range? What were your thoughts?
