Kauai has launched its latest app, complete with loyalty program, the option to order ahead and the option to send vouchers to your friends with the app. Eating healthier has never been so easy ya’ll.
I downloaded the app, loaded R200 and then placed an order at a Kauai at the gym where I wasn’t a member to see if it worked. The whole experience took 15 mins and it was super convenient and easy to use.
Kauai has built a 23-year reputation for being innovative and focused in its mission to serve delicious smoothies and meals made from the best locally-sourced, fresh ingredients. Kauai has now launched their innovative new app, with the aim of making it even easier and more rewarding for customers to enjoy healthy eating.
“We’re seeing a growing trend of customers who don’t want to compromise on healthy eating, but that are also extremely busy and pressed for time. The new KAUAI app helps our customers save time by letting them order in the app. It also allows us to reward and connect with our loyal customers,” says Dean Kowarski, Real Foods CEO.
I tend to agree with the CEO here, being in a hurry is the number one reason why I eat junk as it’s usually quick, convenient and affordable. This option makes Kauai quick and convenient.
The new app provides a seamless, more convenient experience for customers, who can now easily order ahead in the app, skip the queue and simply collect their meals, smoothies and healthy snacks at a dedicated app order collection area in-store. Customers can order 10 – 20 minutes ahead or can choose to collect their order at a pre-set time. Order ahead will be available at all of Kauai stores nationwide.
I love this idea. Imagine letting Kauai know that you’ll be done with your workout at 07h00 and would like to pick up your fruit and yogurt (breakfast bowl) on the way out. No lines, no cash being exchanged, no excuse not to keep your body fueled with healthy nutrients.
The app features an exciting new rewards programme that gives customers 2% cash back on all purchases. The app also has 3 status levels, with accompanying perks that customers can unlock over time, as they use the app more frequently:
· All customers starting on Green status qualify for a free coffee on their birthday
· Customers moving up to the next status level (Gold) qualify for a free smoothie on their birthday, and are also rewarded with a free snack when they achieve Gold status.
· Loyal Kauai customers who achieve Black status will receive a complimentary reusable smoothie cup when they reach this milestone, and also qualify for a free birthday coffee and breakfast
All app users also have exclusive access to members-only offers and early menu previews, with Gold & Black status customers qualifying for additional offers and special Kauai events
Customers can also pay with the app in-store and can send Kauai gift vouchers to friends via the app.
