Hiiiiiii,
So, the most exciting thing happened to me the other day, I was invited to attend a Twincare blogger breakfast. Eeek!!!! This was my first event as a blogger and I was so excited to attend!! The event was everything I expected it to be and more!
It was quite a daunting task, arriving at a venue on my own, to a sea of beautiful faces who all looked like they had known each other for ages. It was great meeting bloggers that I have followed for years and making new friends too. The feeling of being the new kid on the block quickly subsided, all the girls were so sweet and welcoming.
We started the morning off with a delicious breakfast of champagne, smoothies, fresh fruit, muffins and more. The décor was simple and minimalistic yet still impactful. I really loved the proteas on each table. The photographer walked around taking pics of us with an instax camera, so we could take it home as a keepsake. Twincare product was beautifully displayed throughout the venue the all-female team of brand managers walked around and introduced themselves to us all. The main objective of the event was a networking session between local bloggers and the Twincare International brand managers.
Before long we were escorted to a movie theatre where we were welcomed by PR and social media manager Taimen. We then received an inspirational talk from the local SA MD, Stav Dimitriadis, who gave us some insights into the professional beauty care industry and where the current challenges are. We then got to meet all the brand managers formally across all categories and brands, they were all so beautiful and energetic, they were also approachable, and each brand manager had a unique look and style which I loved. I love it when companies empower their staff to express themselves and be creative with their personal style to display their creativity. Twincare offers high quality beauty and haircare products under an umbrella of highly sought-after brands that are likely stocked at your local hair and beauty salon.
Each blogger was given the opportunity to introduce herself, her blog and what her focus area was. I loved that all the girls were so supportive and offered a ton of love and guidance when they found out I was a newbie to the blogger space. I was pleasantly surprised by all the gorgeous products I found inside my goodie bag. Here’s a snapshot below. I cannot wait to play with all of them and do a review on each range. This is a brand I would like to collaborate with more. This was such an exciting introduction to the blogger community and I cannot wait for what is still to come.
